A DC metro area native, Kachina received her Clinical Doctorate and Master's degrees in Acupuncture from the Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH). She is also a certified Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist (ADS) by the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA). Her education and professional experience in traditional Western medicine as well as five-element and eight-principle (TCM) acupuncture helps craft unique and customized treatments. 

​Kachina practices acupuncture because it enables her to care for each person as a whole - body, mind, and spirit. Referred to by clients as “Dr. Chi,” she welcomes all people who are ready to heal. Her specialties include Obstetrics, Women’s Health, and the Eight Extraordinary Vessels. She recently became certified in the Gua Sha Facial Fusion Technique by Cecily Braden. Through her life path as an acupuncturist, she believes her patients, like eagles, must soar and live their best lives.

Shelby received her Masters of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) in Portland, OR. She is a National Board Certified (NCCAOM) Licensed Acupuncturist and Practitioner of Oriental Medicine (Dipl. OM), as well as a certified Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist (ADS) through the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA). Shelby is also a registered yoga teacher (RYT-200) through Radiantly Alive in Ubud, Bali and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder. 

Shelby comes to the practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) through an interest in the deep connections that exist between personal and planetary health. She has 10+ years of experience practicing yoga (Ashtanga Vinyasa in the tradition of Sri. K. Pattabhi Jois, and Dharma Yoga in the tradition of Sri. Dharma Mittra) and meditation (Vipassana Meditation in the tradition of S.N. Goenka) and regularly draws on this experience to guide her clients to a deeper relationship with self. She strives to empower her clients to learn the language of their own bodies and then guides treatment to address each person’s individual needs. Shelby is a Washington DC Metro Area native and is excited to bring all that she has learned in her travels around the world to her home.

Melissa Lee, LAc, Dipl. OM, NCCAOM

Melissa is a licensed practitioner of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. She has been practicing for the past 15 years and is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She is a dedicated and compassionate practitioner who loves using acupuncture to allow the body to heal itself, resulting in balance and true health for the whole person.

Melissa incorporates relaxation techniques and lifestyle recommendations into her acupuncture practice, as well as combining energy balancing and massage to encourage harmony for the mind, body and spirit. She is a general practitioner with a special interest in women's health, digestive disorders, stress, anxiety, and emotional issues.  

Melissa spent three years obtaining a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA). She then completed four months of further study in China at the Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Zhejiang Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, gaining further insight into Chinese medicine.  

Melissa has completed continuing education courses in Reiki and Shiatsu, adding dimension to her treatments. She is also certified in Constitutional Facial Renewal, an effective, holistic treatment for rejuvenating the face.
