A firm believer in the healing power of therapeutic touch, Mary has studied numerous energetic healing modalities and graduated from Potomac Massage Training Institute in 2014. She is a licensed massage therapist, a Reiki master/teacher, a certified Chakra Energy Balancing practitioner, and an acupressure practitioner. Mary offers sessions incorporating both a physical and an energetic approach. A long time student and practitioner of yoga and meditation, these practices help to keep her centered and grounded as well as inform her interactions with the world at large. She is very interested in the mind-body-spirit connection and enjoys working with her clients to help them see how improving their physical and energetic connection with themselves helps to maintain equilibrium and to stay happy and healthy. Her massage style is meditative and flowing, and most clients find it deeply relaxing. She employs deep tissue work as needed based on each client's level of comfort. Recognizing that each client is unique, Mary’s approach to each session reflects the individual client's goals and needs.
